One of my two cats got "put to sleep" yesterday. *sniffle* RIP Tigger. He's up there with all the other famous cats now... Like Data's cat from Star Trek! I'm not sure if that cat is dead yet but he will be someday... I hope my other cat doesn't get lonely and run away!

know how it feels I still feel sad about losing my 2 cats (they were about the same age) even after 3 years. i dont want another cat because i can't stand losing them

Data's cat hasn't been born yet! So, um, she's kinda dead, I guess (and Spot is a female, she had kittens in the episode "Genesis" I believe).

Sorry to hear about your cat, though. One of my cats is 16 years old and her day is coming and it'll suck.

aww I feel sorry for you spider, I know how attached people get with their pets. My cat is almost 14 so his number will be called sooner than later but hopefully not for another 4-5 years.

My kitty is 16. Yea she's really old. She weighs less than a pound (I think she weighs about 8 ounces, but probably less now) and two days ago she had a stroke. She lost control of her back legs totally, so she has been pulling herself a long and spending all day curled up in a box. Well this morning we woke up, and she was gone. Turns out she somehow got off out porch, crawled to our well, and fell down it. Luckily, very luckily, it was empty. All day she kept crawling away, looking for a place to just die. So we were checkig on her a ton. So my little brother checked on her at like 3:30, and at 4 he was going to check on her again, but we couldn't find her again. So we scanned about 2 of our acres, hoping she didn't a. go across our creek and into our field or b. go into the our field that surronds our house. When we couldn't find her, we started searching the 30 acres of our land, but we couldn't find her until 4:30. She was all curled up and cold, so we had ot put her to sleep a few hours ago. I miss her

Yea it's obsurd how attached people can get to their pets. Luckly my other cat hasn't seemed to have noticed. Maybe they aren't smart enough to notice. I bought her some cat treats to keep her happy anyway. They love those!
