I can never understand why people try to put down wrestling because "it's scripted" or because "it's fake". It's not like wrestling fans like it because it's real or unscripted. They already know it's scripted, just like how movies and television shows are scripted.

Yes, I was trying to say in my post that I didn't care that wrestling was scripted. There was a time when I did like wrestling, with the wolf pac and NWO and dX. Ya that was the most interesting period of WWF history, with the gang rivalries and all. Further back i'd remembered ppl like Bret and owen hart, undertaker, yokozuna, crush, etc. Even further back when it was about hogan and savage. They all had their moments. But recently, the characters are not interesting at all. The only relatively new person I like is Kurt Angle, and he's not all that new anymore.

A lot of kids back in the day thought it was real, and clearly a bunch of hicks also think it's real, so the tendency is to assume that most people that are dumb enough to enjoy wrestling are also dumb enough to think it's real. Personally, I don't see the appeal in watching half naked men touch each other unless there's actually an element of sport involved, or you're actually gay. Do women watch mud-wrestling on TV? No. That's because they don't like watching women touch each other. If it's scripted, why not make it less homo-erotic? Well, apparently, because it sells, for whatever reason. I don't understand wrestling, let's just say that.

MAybe because its entertaining to see some guys beat the hell out of each other? Yes, i know its not real....but you can forget its not and still enjoy watching it (aka PRETEND its real...its a lot more entertaining then =p )

lets just say that wrestling is the biggest load of garbage out there, and the only people that watch it are retarded 13 year olds and trailer park hicks engaged to their cousins. That or, like facetious said, gay people that enjoy watching oily half naked men touch eachother in strange ways. I dont think there has been a single truly intelligent human being that likes that big stinking pile of crap they call wrestling. It is not even possible to measure how large a pile of crap wrestling is. Lets just say the human mind can only comprehend equal to a small piece of corn in the great stinking shitpile that is wrestling.
