mp3 players

I'm looking for mp3players which is small but still can add 256-512mb. I'v heard that Ipod is one of the best or the best but it's a bit too big, not if i just use it while free time but if im running or playing some sports it wouldn't feel that good.
I have found some small but i don't know much about them so im asking if someone know which would be good one?

i have a creative nomad muvo2 4gb. 4gb space in a 2"x2" square. it's amazingly small and light. I dont know how much the difference is between flash memory and a HD but i've run up the stairs listening to my HD and it didnt make a difference.

well i don't mean fast running more like jogging and i have those sport headphones they wont fall out.
but thx im gonna look for that too it looks nice and kinda small.
btw can u just add those mp3s which u d/l? because my friend had some crappy mp3 player well were more like memory disc he had to change all files with program.

the creative muvo, muvoNX and muvoTX series are good if you want small and light, however since they use flash there is a tiny delay between songs, which some ppl find annoying.

space ranges from 128mb-512mb afaik.

then theres the slightly larger muvo2, ranges from 1.5gb to 4gb, again flash memory is used so same "problem".

it doesnt skip at all tho, so its perfectly suited to jogging etc.

huh 12 songs? how long songs u have? i have cd which is 12xpm3s and all songs are like 4min and its only 72,4 MB. that player is 256mb. but ya then it would be like 36 songs so looks i need more like 512MB-4GB. btw how long that "tiny" delay is because if im listening cds there is tiny delay between songs and it's tiny and doesn't annoying but if it really annoying someone it have to be longer, right?

that creative nomad muvo2 sounds good if it's really only 2"x2" well i use cm's so its like 5.04cmx5.04cm. doesnt sounds very big.

I was looking those mp 3 players today in shop and noticed that I-river IFP model isnt very good because it's not flat, it looks nice but i could imagine flat player feels better in pocked

if you have an mp3cd player, the delay is about the same if you put it onto shuffle. its not long and doesnt bother me the slightest. but it bothers some ppl.

oh i remember some cds had pretty long delay well nto that annoying but ofcourse i would like some another without delay. sigh i was like almost sure i choose that one it was small and enought room for mp3s but then there is problem like that

things what i need:
small example that 2"x2" is good (flat)
good quality (i dont know much about it)
512-4GB

+radio?

your best bet is definately one of the muvos, muvo2 probably. since a hd based player is too large for what your after.

also if the tiny delay bothers you, take out the little 4gb smart media card, and sell it (you can net more than the cost of the player with it. so its a win win situation)

I think the iRiver 512mb is one of the better flash type players. A little expensive for what you get though.

You really need to decide how much space you need, 512mb-4GB is a huge margin.

HD mp3players, at least iPod, Upload many songs in advance (about 5-15 songs) into a flash buffer so that the hd isn't used that much. That's why they are very good. fits lots of stuff and is still durable and shock-proof.
