  • The 96kb FPS game.

Yes, I know this is from a few weeks ago, but no one posted it here.

Absolutely amazing compression these guys used - the entire game is less than 100 kilobytes. Check it out here http://theprodukkt.com/ but be warned you need a pretty powerful system to get it to run decently. Check out these images. I don't see how it's possible! The screenshots are bigger files than the actual game!

I didn't know they were aiming to make a game. The first time I heard about the produkt it was a 3d demo but nowhere near a game. That was about 2-3 years ago. they've come along way

Yeah, obviously the product of Elite Programmers, not newb (next generation) object oriented moronic bloatware newbic programmers.

bloatware programmers = trashcan product developement, pffft

Believe me, I know what I'm talking about.

I was learning about programming back in the early 1980s, and not impressed with the software I see nowadays.

played it a bit over a week ago, its impressive for its miniscule size.

however IIRC i didnt see an fps counter, are you just pulling those values from somewhere? or is there some way to enable it.

read the readme, they did not use any compression tools whatsoever. Just a compiler... L33T programming

I have no idea why they make games/programs so big nowdays, but it sucks big time.

moving forward I just guessed. it was probably lower, maybe 7 to 10.

                            and btw.

                            1. its beta
                            2. natural selection doesn't have reflective surfaces nor the graphical quality that this has.

Talking about how a different game has better graphics is dumb and missing the point. This game can fit on an old 5 1/4" floppy disk!
