What kind of cellphone do you have?

Why do people need a cell phone? Honestly, it's not that hard to find a payphone or just a homephone.

I got a cellie because I use it to call home from college so I don't pay the long distance bills. And since my homephone changes (moving from dorm to apt, to another apt, etc) its nice to have a number where people can always reach you. Then again, my cellphone off most of the time when I'm back home.

PS. The Camera quality on it sucks, if it's not nice and bright it get's really grainy... even with the built-in photolight on.

I have a...3-4 year old Nokia 3330. Old and crappy, but it does do what it's supposed to do, call & receive calls. No new fancy shit.

a) I've never called from a payphone and it looks very difficult
b) I haven't seen a payphone for a couple of years at least, or then I just don't take notice when walking past one. Guess they have removed most of em.
c) I can't remember a single number (except for my own) by heart. I mean where the hell would I call then??
d) We don't have a home phone, nobody would ever use it anyway. So if I'd want to call someone without having a mobile, I just coudn't.

Having one doesn't mean you have to use it though, my bill is like 3 euros per month or so. I just recieve calls and text messages and mostly answer them with email or IRC or whatever when I get home.
