Curiously, it was the english vice president of this comittee, Kenneth Ridden, that ended the controversy and defended the decision of the referee, Urs Meier. Quoting Mr. Ridden: "The play leaves no room for doubts or second interpretations - there is a foul on the portuguese keeper that the referee spotted in few fractions of a second and made the right decision. We (the Comittee) watched the images a dozen times and were unanimous, i repeat unanimous, in considering a correct decision by the referee."
Quoting Mr. Volker Roth (German president of the comittee) on the same subject: "I am dissapointed with the fact that some British media, barged in Mr. Urs Meier personal life, reaching the point of calling his wife, showing his house and car on the front pages, its incredible. We are thinking about changing the open way we have related to British media so far."
Considering idiotic and ridiculous the controversy created by the English people, Mr. Volker Roth showed disappointment towards the lack of fair play by these people, including Sven Gora Erickson in the same pot: " Sadly, they tried placing the guilt from their own loss in the referee, that is unacceptable, especially since the disallowed goal leaves no doubts of any kind to anyone with a fair sense for this game."

Anyone who knows about football says it was not a foul. The keeper fuked up missed the ball and decided to jump into Terry.
Ofcourse UEFA Will defend the refs, you would expect them to. They cannot openly critise them or they would be cruicified.
The best team won, but dont start making up shit, ref fuked up lets forget it.
Also today the Portugese police and UEFA gave praise to English fans for there conduct while over in portugal, they explained there were no football hooligian events and that the only problem was isolated drunken fights, typical for any nation when there is that many of then, they stressed it was not football related.Comment

other than that, i saw english fans beating up french people after the loss, if that is not hooliganism and football related fights i dont know what is. Aside from that, they practically destroyed the marginal side of Albufeira, if it was drunk people there was alot of them lol, for 37 english fans were arrested and sent home, for uprising and mutiny.
