I am looking for a few websites that are good to look at daily, say for 5-10 minutes, and usually have something interesting to read. I'll give a few examples, but most people probably know them already. For example,
Fark - pretty good site, gives updates on most of the happenings in the news, and best of all covers a lot of funny and bizzare news stories.
ShortNews - another news site, not as good though. I just read it sometimes because it has a few articles that Fark misses.
The Straight Dope - pretty interesting site for a syndicated newspaper column where the guy will answer any question you ask him. Lots of interesting stuff, like "What's the origin of "fuckin' A"?" and "Why do people say "Jesus H. Christ"?"
Snopes - Urban legend reference page. Really cool stuff on here, too bad a lot of the better urban legends turn out to be false.
