Who owns Continuum?

Does anyone legally own Continuum/Subspace? What if someone created another game using the same ships and charged money for it? Could someone take legal action?

Brilliant Digital Entertainment owns Subspace and have since they bought Virgin Interactive's games. Priitk and Mr Ekted own the rights to Continuum.

I'm sure BDE or anyone else would care if someone was making money off of the game (some are, T3..... not much though last time I checked). Subspace is an old game, not really worth trying to make money off of because 95 percent of the entire SS cominity is playing this game because it is free.

Edit: Wrong choice of words, what I meant was that almost no one would pay to play Continuum, it just isn't worth it...
