It has to start now! What better place than here! What better place than now! (Intro)
This is Moot Point for the 11th of September 2002.
This is just a talkback show on the forum, dicussing major current events in todays world.
As you all know today was a day of rememberance for all those brave victims who died in the September 11th terrorist attacks.
God bless them all.
America replied in anger and grief wanting answers for these terrible attacks on great builings of business and monuments, and of course the thousands who died.
Fingers pointed to a terrorist group in Afghanistan, where suspect Bin Laden was hiding. A full force of American soliders, bombed many Afgahistan cities, in hope of discovering the answers.
1 year later, on the day of rememberance, a force of American soldiers, not seen since the gulf war, is beginning making its move into Iraq. President George W. Bush, believes Saddam is behind many potenial and past terrorist attacks.
Though, countries may only invade other countries if some group of world leaders (not sure of the name :\) may let that country do so. So far they haven't allowed America to do so.
There are some unsure reasons is why America would want to invade Iraq.
-Bush takes out Saddam, Bush has control of oil fields.
-Put fear and intimidation into those, who don't recognise the war machine.
-And of course the main reason, extract jutice and stop terrorism.
So. The war that America is bringing to Iraq. is it healthy? there are currently over 2000 New Zealand Iraq's in Iraq. I would hate to think that anything would happen to them.
Is this war right?
Is this war what it truely is?
