Mario Brothers 2 isn't a real mario game. It's really a game called toki doki panic with mario sprites slapped on, you should be able to tell it was a fix job by the shitty ending where it was all a dream.sageComment

Well, after they marketed it as Super Mario Bros 2, they didn't really have a choice but to include it in the All Stars anthology. It didn't start out as a Mario game, but they made enough changes to it that it became part of the series. The Mario All Stars included a game called Super Mario Brothers: the Lost Levels. Well, that "Lost Levels" game was the actual original Super Mario Bros 2 released in Japan.Comment
