Video Games: Holy..Ataris ruled, so did a lot of old MS -dos games..Stunts, warlords, TIM, Prince of persia, Test drive 1+2, bubble bobble, Alone in the dark 1, Larry 1, Monkey island 1 - shit, I don't even remember them all.. OMFG 4D BOXING! AND SCORCHED EARTH!!!!

Toys: Lego ruled. It sucks nowadays, fucking homo designers, lego doesn't even look like lego anymore. Me 'n my brother were the kings of lego building, and I'm not lying either. Disp and me went to Legoland in Denmark when we were kids too..it ruled.

Skateboards: Never had one, I've always disliked skating.

Music: scorpions was good, van halen's "jump"...pet shop boys "Go west" ruled too!

Cartoons: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was the shit. And Brandman Sam!

I remember punching someone on the eye once over a discussion about Captain Planet having a guy with a "love"-ring. I was a silent boy overall but I had anger fits. Like I banged two guys head together after they were taunting me over a loss in gymclasses and the teacher tore my jacket apart trying to calm me down. :P

I don't think people should be mentioning "Dreamcast" and "Metal Gear Solid 2" as old-school games they have nostelgia for.

Anyway, if I went into everything this would be a 20 page post. I'll just go back to the earliest things I remember.

Clothes: Eh... I wore sweat pants and no-name crap when I was little.

Video Games: I mostly played NES when I was little. I could get pretty far on Castlevania when I was about 3- years old, but to this day I have never been able to kill that god damn 2nd form of Dracula that he transforms into. My other favorite games were Burger Time, Athena, Contra, Megaman 1, Amagon, Metroid and the godly Kid Icarus (BEST GAME OF ALL TIME). Later on when I started to be able to read, I played Dragon Warrior and other RPGs.

Toys: I had tons of Legos. And Ninja Turtles. I had the pizza launcher thing, but it kinda sucked. I also remember when I got these "talking" Ninja Turtles action figures, hahahah they were so horrid. You had to pull a piece of orange plastic strip through a hole in the side of them, and it would make them "say" something, even though it sounded like Stephen Hawking was talking with a pillow over his speaker thing. Later on I got into POGS and I still have all of them somewhere, probably around 1000+ of them and 30-40 slammers.

Music: I listened to Barenaked Ladies and Green Day and these really old 8-track tapes my dad had.

Cartoons/Shows: He-Man was the best show. Of course I watched the classic Buggs Bunny and Tweety shows. Also Transformers, and a lot of other shows that I can't remember the names of.

Oh and about Duck Hunt, I'm pretty sure that if you aim at a lightbulb and shoot, it will always be a hit. I remember I wanted to see what would happen on that game after you got to level 99, so I put the gun right up to the screen and kept killing the birds instantly. What happened after I beat level 99? It went back to level 00 again.

Crap ZZ, you reminded me of some oldschool games...rockford, supaplex, california games, face off.. crap. I'm fucking going to buy a really old computer and download all old games and play them on that other comp. A game called "F-19" or something ruled aswell. It had the best music ever, it was so fucking good that I'd get a tear in my eye if I would hear it now.

Video Games: Holy shit these things are legendary: Offroad (legend^2), Blades of Steel (getting 2 mins in the penalty box for losing the fight = $$), Supaplex (I'm suprised only ZZ mentioned this in his thing), Some weird Ducktales game where you had to collect money for Uncle Scrooge by winning all these minigames, Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt (who HASN'T played this when you were young? )

Toys: Mostly my computer, but I had lots of Legos and Mecchanos (it's the Erector thing Pandagirl was talking about).

Music: Simon and Garfunkel, Beatles, all that 70's stuff

Cartoons/Shows: BIKER MICE FROM MARS! (I loved it), Power Ranges (before they changed the red guy).

Games: the ultimate game, motherfucking PONG

Toys: Fuck toys, after my sis' Barbie lost virginity to her friend Ken, I didnt show same interest in toys anymore. Rocks make good toys if you throw them at ppl. Other than that, I was out all day doing all kinds of crap with mah lil buddies. When I was 12, I had a 15yr old gf who used to write me tons of letters and send me clippings from chocolates and shit. One time I didn't pick her in my team when we were playing something, and she got mad, we got in fight, and she busted my lip (what a cunt) so I took all her letters and ripped them apart in front of everyone. (I've grown up to have a very healthy relationship towards women despite those early-year incidents).

Music: Wasp, Venom, Skid row, Metallica, GnR, MTVs Ray Cooks and Headbangers Ball with Vanessa. (I prolly misspelled all their names, but fuck it). I later grew up to dislike 80s metal.

Cartoons: Muppet Show (I was terrified of that drummer when I was really lil), Strippy (?) (that lil guy that is in diff colours and once he starts laughing he can't stop), Linea (omfg that rocked so bad)

I remember that Duck Tales thing, I think I played it on a friends SNES. Damn it was fun. We always did the same challenge and died at the same place.

Actually no, an off TV screen isn't the same tone as the duck on the game. I think the white light around the duck has something to do with it too.

Oh and about Duck Hunt, I'm pretty sure that if you aim at a lightbulb and shoot, it will always be a hit.

I guess the light bulb overloads the sensor in the gun...I'm not sure.
