yay i cant wait for PC version. back in the 90s ive always wanted a game that simulates real life so i can be who im not. SIMs didnt really do that. it was more of a mature-adult simulation.

Something worth waiting for, tho I really hate when PC players haft to wait like one year after PS2 realase, or something in that way. I mean who uses consoles? Silly! Tho I have still my GBA,GBC and PSONE. You get kinda tired to buy new games, while they are free on internet. And when there comes new consoles almost every year.. I bet soon they will release PS3 in near future. And besides, you can accually update your hardware with a pc..

Anyway, I bet the new GTA will be a thrilling experience.

Nope, there will be no multiplayer options in GTA:SA.

I don't see why not. On the console versions maybe there won't be, but with the PC version something will be hashed out. The code was in 3 and VC after all, and people managed to get that working.

In an interview with Rockstar, posted in a dutch game magazine, their spokesman denied the presence of a multiplayer option. The reason for this, according to him, is the fact that the hardware needed to support their multiplayer goals/vision (a large city full of human players) is not yet available.

The forming of gangs as you describe is reserved for single player missions, where you have to join/form a gang to be able to attempt a mission.

Maybe the PC port will have a built in multiplayer option, but I seriously doubt it. I guess we'll have to wait for GTA 4.

Some people will probably attempt a multiplayer modification, as they did with GTA 3, but as it stands now there will be no multiplayer support by default.

Grand Theft Auto is not online, the PC version could be modded though, so you can possibly get online play.

The tenetive online version of GTA is "Grand Theft Auto: Crime Online"
