Grand clearly has amnesia and thinks that he claimed Saint in the thread, which he did not, as I already pointed out earlier. He must be thinking of the fact that he PMed ixt with this info. It was a complete piggyback on ixts claim, and as I stated before, ixt at least made an earlier post that gave credibility to that claim.

PMing anyone on day 1 is a goofball move and scummy as hell.

ixt, when did grand PM you that he was a Saint? Day/time?

What's that say about those who quickly voted Paul? I could easily see scum using the Paul 'slip' as reasoning to jump on a townie wagon, since it's easier to piggyback someone else's scum hunting than to fabricate it yourself as scum.

Vote: ffe since he's the biggest culprit in doing that besides downfall, and I dont want to vote downfall since he was the first real wagon, which is unlikely to form on scum.

I don't know what the vote count is anymore, but I'm gonna say no thank you to voting last on grand, if he really is a supersaint. I think voting out supersaint claims is a bad idea mechanically, because scum won't be dumb enough to vote them last. They'd just play musical chairs at the last second to not die in the aftermath. IMO, only vengeful claims should be lynched, and Supersaint claims need to be killed by any vengeful townie that dies. Call it a policy kill if you want, but it needs to be done. This is the best way for town to win with minimal casualties I think.
reasoning on why this should happen? if someone who claimed vengeful is lynched and flips town, why should they be directed to focus on those who claimed saint? Now, i say this with no relation to whatever Grand could be (after all, too limited info). making this kind of remark puts a slight question mark on exalt's affiliation but ill see from here. would like an updated VC soon. i think my vote is still downfall? i forget lol

Also, what reasoning is there that grand would PM you 3? I get that he knows downfall and ffe irl, but there's only 1 way he could know the affiliation of downfall, ffe, and ixt. Even if he is a town power role with a day action, as ixt pointed out, there's no way he could have 3 results. A town power role would be worried about PMing someone anti town, especially at the very beginning of the game. Someone who is already anti town doesn't have to worry about the affiliation of who they pm (assuming there isn't more than 1 mafia).

If you guys want to lynch me then feel free, I don't mind. I have a shortlist of people that I feel good about and I can make my mark on the game anyway.

And also, since I haven't seen anyone else mention this, I received 2 PMs about my role, the second one was a clarification of the first. I don't imagine I was the only one to get this. But if this has already been mentioned elsewhere, I haven't seen it but you can disregard this part.

You really believe that I was seriously suggesting that everybody in the game was a vengeful townie? I know you guys have been gone for awhile, but this is really the hill you're choosing to die on on your first game back? I don't know in what world my joke qualifies as being concrete enough for a lynch, but grand sending out PMs at random isn't.

Well Grand has been pming Downfall and me which is true. Also he claimed saint first through those pm's. First thing he claimed was killing role then modified to last one to vote me dies then to I am saint.

Seems too elaborate and coincidental to be lie. However TP not knowing his own win condition? Sorry but I don't think you would joke about that if you were town. Seems like an excuse

I know as a pro-town role i shouldnt be highlighting this, but the possibility must be considered Grand could also be some sort of townie power role but making this kind of move this early is VERY risky. just throwing the idea out there, but at the moment seems less likely

thats what i have said but yeah, especially the swap from kthx to ffe, after all PM'ing ESPECIALLY day 1 is questionable in itself.
