Madden 2005

Im actualy leaving to go to the mall in about an hour to go buy that very game Then after i play it a lil i'll let u know what i think, but i've been on the Madden bandwagon for a few years and it always impresses me when i 1st open it and put it in, and it never bores me.

I played ESPN and was gon na buy that bc its so cheap, but i didnt really like it bc it had some stupid shit on it and it was generaly easy, so i didnt and said fux it waiting for madden bc i konw madden will put it to shame.

What's funny is when I was choosing between Madden and ESPN2k5, I thought of this post.

Madden Football is the ultimate in Football video games and it always will be.

They way I go, I buy a New Madden game every other year, last year I got 2004 so I'll wait till 2006 to get another.

Agreed...ESPN2k5 is the best football I've ever played (besides the original Tecmo Bowl for NES)...there's so much more shit you can do on this game than Madden...personalize your own crib all the way down to customizing your own stadium music...plus its $20 ffs..Madden= :down:

Thats bs LOL THe Crib thing is plain out stupid 1st off. Its not even fun or cool to do it, and who cares if u can customize ur own music? Put a radio or CD on if u want to listen to ur own music. The only good thing about ESPN is its 20$. The game itself is as easy a football game i ever played. There were a few good things about the ESPN game like the sportscenter thing altough it was choppy. Also when u offerd a trade to a team they'd send back a reoffer with things that would make it work, but other then that it really wasnt to great and nothing better then madden except price. Its a good game for 20$, but madden is hella better overall.

So i have madden and my cousin has ESPN, for me, the gameplay in ESPN is horrible. The graphics remind me of my madden 99 game i have for PS1.

The one thing I'de like to see in Madden Football games is better in game analysis. If you ever listened to a football game on the radio, the announcer is telling you exactly what is going on at all times. If Donovan Mcnabb throws a 50 yard bomb to Terrell Owens and he runs for a touchdown, the Radio Announcer is going wild with emotion. I think that type of emotion on good in-game plays would be very cool and make the game way more fun to play. Also I think Madden could improve on Training Camp and such but It seems to get better every year.

Agreed with the announcer shit thats true. ANd yes the madden does get better every year with the Training camp. YOu should be able to have more options tho. It sucks when u got 2 rookie/young Cornerbacks and can only use 1 in training camp, but on 2004 it was about the offence, it alawys was and the computer could rack up good passing yards on u sometimes (if u dont got pass rush) close to 500 yrds for teams like the rams and stuff, but this year its alot different. I mean that hit stick rocks. You can turn the game rite around just by hitting them with the hit stick, and its not something ez to do. Alot of the time u simply miss by tryin to use it and it results in big plays alot of the time. Plus the opponent's defence is alot better. 2004 u could get big runs alot durin the game, now its alot harder. I think they just keep gettin better and better, its hard to imagine what will improve from year to year but it always improves.

You convinced me, dr. Today I shelled out $50 for yet another Madden game, and I couldn't be happier. The Madden games have gotten more and more realistic, not just in the graphics department (obviously) but also as far as offensive/defensive balance goes, and I'm fanatical about that sort of thing.

What does a person's age have to do with how good a game is? Madden is better then ESPN by a mile and thats just how it is. Other games are better then some and we just live with that fact. If u dont liek madden then thats up to u, but ur just lying to urself if u say ESPN is better.

Ezor: ur rite, and its not just realistic in those areas too.Its realistic in the franchise thing. it give u atleast a small look into the world of a GM and such. Sure u can usualy do trades that most ppl wouldnt do, but thats why its a game. Overall tho it has alot of good things on it which make it feel like ur in the game.
