Ah.. college.
The most valuable waste you will ever do.
And I can better those SAT stories. I went to UNC in the mid-70’s, worked my ass off in a textile mill second shift, and went to school in the daytime. Never carried a book, but finished with a nearly 3.0 GPA. They started to screw with me at the end of my senior year, I quit 3-4 hours short of a degree, and I’ve never regretted it since.
I got my education, I got a career job based upon my abilities. I have never been asked for the piece of paper. I hire people now at large salaries, I put little weight on their educational experience.
So go to school, remember that YOU are the one paying for that education, you will get out of it what YOU put in, forget the piece of paper. Learn how to learn, screw being able to regurgitate information for 24 hours before taking a test.
