    As you probably have all heard the IMF and World Bank are holding their annual meetings this week in Washington D.C. Thousands of protestors are flocking to D.C. to (what else) protest the IMF/World Bank's policies In the heart of it all will be yours truly. $$$$$$

    Interesting. What kind of protests are they going to have? Are you gonna participate?

    It's very important not to overlook local, corrupt agencies like Citi Bank (proudly behind world-wide flooding, sweatshop labor, predatory lending, oil spills, global warming, and rare species extinction).

      Nayo and I are both going to participate in the protests. I would say more, but I'm on my neighors comp, and it sucks.

          Those sort of events have the coolest free stuff. Can you get me some stickers and "Preach the Peace" t-shirts? I'll pay for the shipping.

                      It went very well. I didn't go to the direct action portion, I just went to the rally and march. I think Mattey might be at the direct action. It was very peaceful and productive. If all protests were as successful there would be a lot of progress made in the world.

                        Seriously, though, I admire your participation in the political process (oh the alliteration is killing me), but I think Winston Churchill said it best (and I'm paraphrasing here, but you get the idea):

                        If you aren't a liberal in your 20's, you don't have a heart. And if you don't vote conservative in your 40's, you don't have a brain.
