anyone use a cable descrambler?

Which descramblers are good to go these days? Share your experiences, your 2nd hand experiences and whatever else u've got for me. I haven't ever owned one..but why the hell not?

I've had a cable descrambler for about 5-6 years and I absolutely love it.

Depending on what area of the states you live in, and what service provider you have, you're going to need a different kind of cable box utilizing different technologies that's compatible with your location

Also, if you're going to get one, get one with a built in "bullet protector" which is used to protect against the signal surge that the cable companies periodically send out designed to short circuit your descrambler's software.

Personally, I think theyr'e worth it.
