Hattori Hanzo was a real Japanese ninja, I believe or so 've heard, who was perhaps the most famous of such a group. He was then taken into many different things, ranging from tv shows, video games and Kill Bill. Quentin( sp? ) mentioned a tv show that was based off of Hattori, making each son named after the famed ninja and placing the 100th Hattori Hanzo into Kill Bill.
