Oddly enough, over here in NJ this year's Sept. 11th is sharing its spot in the holiday calendar with a rather less auspicious event: Ramsey Day. Ramsey Day is always held on the second Saturday in September, and it's a carnival-like celebration (cotton candy, etc. etc.) of the founding of a nearby town called Ramsey. This year there was a pretty big controversy about holding it on the regular day, which this year fell on 9/11.Originally posted by WardComment

Today, 11th September, 3 years ago, 2 airplains flew into the WTC, another flew into the pentagon, and another crashed. Almost 3000 people died on that day.
