What's up with CS? I haven't played it for like a year or so, and yesterday when I had nothing else to do, I thought for myself "hey, what the hell. Let's go and get owned by some cs nerds"...

And there I went, and suddenly it strook! "Your current version of counter-strike is out of date" or some shit like that. So I'm like "Yeh, another fucking update to download. Sigh." But.....there WERE NO UPDATES TO DOWNLOAD! So I got mad, and downloaded the newest HL & CS updates there were..and still it didn't work.

Now, does anyone know why? Or how to get pass this? Or what to download? Or just stick to subspace? :P

Yeah, if you played CS years ago and still haven't upgraded to Steam yet, chances are someone will have taken your CD-key already. Happened to me; I reinstalled the game after not playing it for years, downloaded Steam and the CD-key I used to use was taken.

That's my clan server, we are one of a few servers who have the newest beta of War3Mod. Its crazy, there are no races, but you have a pool of all the skills, and you gradually unlock them as you level, up to 35 levels. Its a good server with good people on it.

I actually bought a copy of the original half life for my little sister, and it said the CD-KEY was taken already. Bullshit, I say.

Steam has been fine with me, I registered my account during the beta stages of steam. I have rarely ran into any problems with Steam until I had to fuck about with CZ.
