    damn right it is, i also don't get that if your grades are bad, then kick me out of the school, and not when i am absent for like 15 hours a weak because i have done that already 15.000 times...

        Well, your parents might be interested, because they're the ones paying for your education, atleast untill highschool.

        In the Netherlands, much for the same reason, the government would like to know if you take your study seriously, because after highschool they're the ones paying for your education (for a large part atleast).
