    No, let's not. Pure democracy would be worse. Our Founding Fathers knew this, that's why they avoided it. If I'm not mistaken, under a democracy the government would have unlimited power (dictatorship-like).
    More like a mob-rule. It would be a dictatorship of the people's will, or something like that. As I (sort of) stated in my previous post, France had a problem with this. Mob rule is what screwed the place up in the late 18th century. If you're interested in direct-democracy, try reading some Rouseau (pardon my spelling, haven't studied philosophy in a while).
