  • Major Nintendo DS News!!

I just got an email from 1up.com( wish I could read it, but stupid work's server blocks out video game websites >< ) with major information about Nintendo DS launch titles, including Final Fantasy III.

Anyone else get said email or frequent 1up?

Thoughts on DS now that it has more games announced?

I saw the FF3 trailer, it was 99.9999998% text, all in japanese, and there was a crystal in the background.

Nintendo DS launch titles officially revealed

Super Mario 64 DS and Spider-Man 2 highlight a US launch lineup that will consist of 10 to 12 titles. Also, Japanese launch details, Final Fantasy III confirmed.

In the wee hours before it takes the wraps off its soon-to-be-released DS portable gaming system, Nintendo released new details on the upcoming platform's US software lineup at launch and beyond. As noted previously, the system is slated to ship November 21 at an SRP of $149.99. However, since Nintendo's release of those details several weeks ago, there has been little word on the software lineup for the fledgling device. Now, new details have finally emerged that help paint a broader picture of the software that will be available for the system and some of the system's unique features.

I read this in a magazine, but with the DS, they should make a new game in the Chrono Trigger series. One half of the screen is a party in present day, the other half is the party in the past (or future). And whatever you do in the past you can use to affect the present and press select or something to switch time zones.

Only if you bought it when it came out on the Famicom in Japan. This one has never been officially released outside of Japan. (And no, it's not the same FF3 we got in North America with Terra, Sabin et al, that one was FF6.)

FF3, the REAL FF3, is basically the only one that hasn't been released to the US now, I think. This will finish off all the remakes.

                            MILF alert!!
My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

That still sucks. Anyone who is interested in FF3 will have already played it on an emulator, and it's arguably the worst FF game on the Nintendo.
