I got my wisdom teeth (4 of them) out yesterday. My mouth is bleeding like crap and I'm all dizzy. Maybe I should stop reading the forums before I barf.

when i got my wisdom teeth out i went to work at 8 a.m.the next day. it wasnt bad at all.

I never understood why wisdom teeth need to be removed. Or do they even remove them for everyone?

For about half the population in the world, your wisdom teeth will grow fine, but for the unfortunate other half (me included), the wisdom teeth will be projected to push the adjacent teeth as it grows, therefore causing MORE pain than if you just removed the wisdom teeth. Also wisdom teeth are like how the appendix is to your intestine.

lucky me, i've only had to have 1 tooth taken out and never needed a brace

I've never had any teeth taken out, fillings or any other kind of oral medical care (apart from braces), yet I only brush once a day(if that), and cant stand drinking milk.

I'm just lucky.

I've only had one brace, never had any fillings or removals (not including some of my Milk teeth).

Thing is NaiLed and Peanuts, like me, you've probably not got your Wisdom teeth through yet.

Count the teeth on the bottom row. 14 = no wisdom teeth yet, 16 = wisdom teeth.

Most people get them through between 18 and 25.

I am 14 and I had to get them out cause they were blocking my 12 year molars, which my orthodontist wanted to put braces on (I've had braces for 2 years now).
