Counter-Strike: Source

Okay computer gaming freaks, whats this? I've logged on to CS a few times now to discover that most of the servers now you can only play Counter-Strike: Source. I mean the ratio of Normal CS servers to Source ones is like 1:4, What's the difference? Does it have anything to do with Half Life 2? Is it better and is it worth getting?

Help, I'm getting bored of high ping servers.

source is like the "remade" version of CS, just like HL:Source and DoD:Source,

better grafics, thats pretyt much it afaik, some optimizations too..

might be worth getting, but its not all that great afaic.

CS:S is CS made with the HL2 engine.

CS:Source is cool to play now for shits and giggles, but if you're in a CS clan, don't go over until your clan goes over, or you'll be a lonely person.

I play clanless, I only like social clans now. Can't be bothered with clan matches anymore, all the clans I have been in you push you to perform and if you dont turn up they get pissed off and kick you out.

Clans are gay, the only fun in counter-strike is getting a para on a ff server without one of those gay mods that kills you if you tk within the first x seconds.
Once you fufill all those requirements, you play "Who can dodge a wall of lead?"

The Para in CS plain sucks.
Inaccuracy I can live with, it's a machinegun afterall, but the rate of fire is just laughable, and you have to fire off half a belt before you start to annoy somebody. The full 250 might kill, if you're 10 feet away and the "victim" is deaf, blind and stupid.

In Source they increase the rate of fire to what would be normal for a machine gun. But yeah, it sucks balls for quarters.

CS is stupid, I don't like it. CS just gets me depressed. And I don't mean that I suck at playing CS.
