One of my flatmates is playing it right now. I had a little look, the water effects seem pretty awesome and the graphics in general.

I'm going to have to wait a week to play it (I go home for a day) cause my PoS computer here could never handle it.

I'm considering asking my Dad to bring down my Telly and Xbox so I can play Halo 2, cause otherwise I'm gonna have to wait a month to play it.

With a GeForce 4 TI 4200 the game should run smooth as silk (provided, ofcourse, that the rest of your system is on par with the videocard). Naturally you won't be able to experience some of the more advanced DX9 graphical effects, but the difference between DX8.1 and DX9.0 isn't all that shocking anyway.

Not at the best graphics tho.. Without having it at a low fps. And thats very annoying, when you want to enjoy it to the fullest. But I'm getting a Hercules 3d prophet 9800PRO, if I win the auction.
