  • Air Force calls for $7.5M to study psychic teleportation

    http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/20...ortation_x.htm

"It is in large part crackpot physics," says physicist Lawrence Krauss of Case Western Reserve University, author of The Physics of Star Trek, a book detailing the physical limits that prevent teleportation. He describes the Air Force report as "some things adapted from reasonable theoretical studies, and other things from nonsensical ones."
My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

If they don't have Scotty, they won't get anywhere. Even having Jordi LaForge would make me feel better about the whole thing

We are always trying to go for "HUGE" scientific discoveries, say like a home run. Why can't we just advance bit by bit, like a single, then another. Eventually, those bunch of singles will add up.

tha's what happens. You shoot for the home run and learn the small things on the way. If you don't set a high goal you might never stumble into new technologies and discoveries. Although this idea is a bit out there and is gonna be a waste of money. THey should think big in another area.
To all the virgins, Thanks for nothing

From a relative standpoint 7.5M is chump change.

I once read that if you do that teleport stuff it would cause an huge explosion or shockwave or whatever. Do you mind trying it out in another universe?

                          btw, Subspace already has teleports.

Yay, we're more advanced than the air force.

And nailed, I think he means warping.
