This is definately the best place to ask the following very important question:

How can I stalk someone online, for real, without them knowing? :fear: Like, how to visit their website without leaving a trace of my being there? This is a VERY clever person I'm trying to infiltrate here. There is no fooling this person so I just need a little bit more info before I approach them, but if this person sees me on their site they might wonder why. You understand this problem and you want to help me fix it, okay? With your help, I am moving up in the online stalking world, my darlings. Hah. :innocent:

Any helpful suggestions will be most appreciated.

Well you could just visit their website from a computer at a computer lab somewhere, assumming that's enough secrecy for you.

But I mean them finding you based on visiting their website. Yes you can do that, but they have to be actively looking for you.

Just to clarify, LaBero won my vote for Sexiest Man in Trenchwars a few years back. For the record, LaBero has always been a real nice guy to me in game, and he knows he can call me if he ever comes to my country.

Anyway, any other ideas will also be considered. Keep in mind, I need something super easy to do yet effective. And preferably something that isn't high-maintenance. Is a proxy really that effective in 'cloaking' your identity? What are the limitations? How can I make it look like I'm from an entirely different country so that this person has no clue it's me?

You can use a proxy to make it look like you're from another country. In another game I play (without going into details here of why) people trade for accounts from another country and then use a proxy to fake it like they are logging in from that country and they don't get caught. From what I know it's really easy to do.
