How do you do this game, what's the idea? I just kinda started trying to build a big tower of blocks but really noticed that that's not how to win.

There'll be a flag in the center of the map.
You'll find each block you place creates an circle around it.
You can only place further blocks on existing circles so you kinda have to build a bridge towards the flag. The blocks don't have to be touching, just the circles.

The aim is to have your connected circles reach the flag first.

PS. Putting blocks on top of each other will give you some sorta extra radius bonus but then its more likely to fall over. Hopefully the pics above make more sense now.

Why doesn't Bontago work for me?

I'm running an Athlon 1.1GHz + GeForce2 MX440 (both of which work according to the Bontago site)

I've tried changing all of the options in the graphics menu, to no avail. It always looks like this:

get dx9 and update your drivers to support it.
