You're right dameon that isn't a "freestyle" but i dont think it was intended for people to interpret it as such, mainly because of your previously mentioned reasons. (and if u were even able to figure this out, im sure sixtoo had also come upon this stark realization) Instead, perhaps try reading and enjoying it (or not)as a written piece of urban poetry, something which has become more common and rather popular in certain circles since the introduction of rap/hip hop influence into our popular media and culture.
