If you want something online that is amusing, you can usually find something at www.newgrounds.com

Ahh... PS2 games... don't get me started, lol.

Grand Theft Auto Series (Circa PS2: Liberty City (3), Vice City, San Andreas).

This game is where I like to use the term "Sandbox". The game is like one giant sandbox filled with toys to play with. And, on top of that, it has a nice storyline which isn't gonna be a Metal Gear Saga, but it's well thought out and it keeps you going.

Star Ocean 2 : The Second Story (PS1), Star Ocean 3 : Til the End of Time (PS2).

Both, Action RPGs of an epic scale. The gameplay plays out in random battles in dungeons and overworlds, like your general RPG game. But, each game has a battle system where it's real time based on timing the correct attacks, and movement on the battlefield. Very action based, kinda like Dynasty Warriors, just on a very much smaller scale (like 5 guys instead of 5,000, lol). Along with it's engaging battle system, they have a very robust item creation system. SO2 has a larger/better one than 3 in my opinion tho. If you don't mind the graphics, I'd prefer 2 over 3.

Dance Dance Revoultion : Max, DDR Max 2.

The arcade hit at your own home! That's right, you can dance and look like an idiot without the fear of public humiliation. You can also practice your skills to take to the arcade machine. All in all, its good fun, and gets you moving.

Need for Speed Underground / Underground 2.

Take "Pimp my Ride" and then "The Fast and the Furious", and then remove all the bad acting. This game is what you'd expect from a Need for Speed game. Arcade racing at it's finest. You can race though about 18 different tracks in the city to fight for money to upgrade your car and customize it to make it your very own to the body of one of many different, real cars. Then you can take your car(s) online and race against many different opponents in 1v1 duels.

Socom (2) : US Navy Seals.

What I like to call the "Counter Strke" of the Online Consoles, Socom 2 is a very nicely done, online shooter. Some people might like the single player missions for fun, but the main reason you buy this game is to play it online in 8v8 man battles. The controls are smooth, a plus for any FPS, and the lag is relatively low, since it's hosted on people's PS2s, rather than a server. This is definately one fine shooter to pick up to play online. If you don't have online tho, don't get it, you'll probably get bored.

          that's enough for now...

                    I try, I try. <3 :P

Annnyways. Nah, I played Counter Strike on X-Box. And it, just wasn't the same. The controls are a bit weird, the buying system was nicely done tho. I guess if you don't have access to a PC that can run that game, go for it. But, you do miss out on alot of the extras (skins, maps, add-ons, server mods) that PC users get.

I used to play Savage on dialup. It would lag sometimes, but I could usually play without much problem. You can play online with the demo version, too.

Guild wars fine with a dial up, I playied with a 12kps, and I didn't really notice anything. (only that it took some time for him to come the the mish (mission)) but when we playied it was like walking on water. I'm not sure about how it works with WoW.

Anyway, GW is better then WoW.. (since I have only tried GW, couldn't get at beta sign-up thingy to WoW :'( ) And besides having problems paying to play isn't that sexy.. :/
