Yeah I liked all the Madden NFL games, they had great soundtracks on some of them.

They own The Sims and SimCity, the Battlefield series, the Medal of Honor series, Command and Conquer, Need for Speed, Ultima Online, and the gaming rights for the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. In any week within the last couple of years, EA has from 3 to 5 of the top ten selling PC games.

I think I beat Contra by cheating. I was so bad on those Side level thingmajigs. (Non-Side scroll levels). The boss was real easy though if I recall. Then they made more contras that were really really annoying with gazillion bullets to dodge.

Anyway I really dont care about a gaming monoply. Since most sports game dont appeal me anymore since you really cant add anything to them at a certain level. I still think some of the best sports games are from older systems. Like NHL 96. Or Mutant League Hockey/Football now that was a great game even though its not really a sports game were talking about.

EA's stock has gone up and up over the last year. I wish I would have bought some about 4 years ago. Oh well. I doubt you will see a decline in the EA games. It would be horrible management of one of the top franchise games. Madden is a staple on all consoles, and to ruin it's great reputation would spell disaster for its stock value and company.
