I'm about to have a geometry test!!!!!

Wow.

If you didn't take Geometry in 8th grade up here you are considered an idiot.

What we did was 6th grade was Pre-Algebra then a placement test which puts you in Algebra I, or Pre-Algebra II/Algebra (sort of an advanced level Pre-Algebra). From there (8th grade) you would take Geometry if you took algebra one or the PA II, or Algebra one, but algebra one was filled with remedial kids in 8th grade and everyone I knew took Geometry or some sort of High School Level Math Class. Some kids took Pre-Calc in 9th which blew my fucking mind.

I am like Do the Fandango. Although I went to a public school and there it was normal if you did well enough you got into Pre algebra in 6th otherwise you were retarded. Then I moved to AZ and I am ahead of everyone. Freshman year I was in a class full of Sophmores and Juniors, now it is Juniors and Seniors lol.

In my opinion all schools should move you ahead it really isn't that hard and you are just a little bit dumber with that extra year of learning how to add subtract multiply and divide.

My maths teacher during my GCSEs was a cunt. Couldn't teach for shit.

3 people in my class passed and they had private tuition. I was in the 3rd to top set too, the only thing I failed had to be one of the most important things.

The only thing math related I've done in the last two years is propositional calculus and set theory. I'm think about taking a computer graphics course next semester though. That should be somewhat of a challange. Programming 2D and 3D graphics in C.

Yea I'm a freshman. Our school is stupid and if you're smart and everything (there's one class out of the whole grade that takes this route) you take Advanced Math in 6th grade, Pre-Algebra in 7th, Algebra in 8th, which is for high-school credit, and then you can retake Algebra again if you failed or move on to geometry. Thus, my geometry class is all seniors and three freshman, and the mean score of the tests is around a 53%. I have 103% in the class. Go figure.

Whoops ^-^ Forgot that some people that there are 15 year olds as freshman. That is pretty much the same schedule for me right now. There are only 4 freshman in my class, about 10 soph's, 10 juniors, and 1 senior (Really tall senior).
