Me too, too many performance issues, even with the highest spec rigs.

And glaring errors dealing with hitboxes. Add lag into that problem and the game is literally unplayable.

I agree, but from what I understand, those who play 1.6 have been playing it for a while and would probably have a clan already. I wanted to catch it after the holiday break.

Yesterday I sat down to play good old Counter-Strike 1.6 and its absolutely full of kids, hackers and idiots-- no change there though, but I didn't realise how bad it was until then. Fuck that, Condition Zero is by far the best to beat the cheats, so I'll be sticking with that for a long time.

As for CS: Source, yeah, the biggest issue I believe is the hitboxes.

CS 1.6 is wayyyy better than CS:S. Tho I haven't played cs:s..

Yea, it takes two hits to register one, it's rather ridiculous.
But the hitboxes aren't the only problem, they still haven't put back the recoil on the semi-automatic sniper rifles, they lowered the innacuracy of the awp while moving by a tremendous amount, and there is the glitch where a random person will get $1600 dollars in the pistol round instead of $800.
I'm sure there are other but these are the one's I've noticed most.
