I don't understand how people can go on Fear Factor

I was watching an old Fear Factor rerun yesterday and I have no idea how anyone can possibly do the eating competetions. The people had a bowl of blended maggots (half were still alive and moving) and a big plastic shake cup full of live flies with a big plastic straw in it. Then had to suck up the blended maggots and spit them into the straw/cup until it was full, then they had to shake it up and drink the entire mix of blended maggots and live flies. Several people managed to do it.

How in the name of god are people able to do this? I wouldn't even voluntarily TOUCH a maggot let alone drink a shake of blended ones.

I also don't understand how people don't get sick from some of the crap they eat. Egg nog made of 100 year old eggs and stuff.

Would anyone here be willing to go on Fear Factor and eat some of the shit they have to eat?

How can someone eat maggots and flies... thats so revolting... i wouldnt ate something like that even if i won $50 000 that's above the kind of stuff i would do for money.

I could do everything but the eating. I have a friend who would be great at the eating part. She ate a band aid (not used) yesterday, and sat in science class eating rubber cement today. She can stomach anything.

We did have a Fear Factor compitition at our school, pretty gross. I don't remember what exactly all the food was, but they were completely zoomed in on this one kid, and it was projected on the wall, but we were close enough to see what was going on. So I'm like "Wow, look at his facial expressions! He looks like he's about to puke!" and then he barfs it all up as soon as I have everybody looking. It was so gross, it splattered all over the camera :sick:

bob marley dave chapelle did a skit on fear factor and he played a crack head that was treating the competition like a day in the sun, eventually winning the money and promising his crack whore girlfriend the biggest rock in the world and of course it wasn't a wedding band.

The worst one was the potatoe bugs. They were biting people as they were being eaten, and they were HUGE! I almost puked while watching it.

Anyone with a job is already doing things that they don't want to do for money. Just think of Fear Factor as an accelerated job.
