This man is amazing when it comes to music, I highly urge you to download some of his songs.

What genre? Well...he has multiple "projects". He is probably most known for heading up Strapping Young Lad (their cd Alien is coming out in march) and that's metal. I've only have copies of a few of his projects, but I'm loving 90% of his stuff. This guy is just insane when it comes to the amount of music that he has put out. Here are some of my favorites-

The ones with the **** are the ones I highly, highly recommend. They're just awesome. Hell, if you have cable, just nab all of these real quick. They're really good. I'll say ahead of time that Ocean Machine IMO is really uplifting music...try him out, I guarentee half of you at the least won't be dissapointed.

Townsend is the man. You left out SYL's "City" release, though, and that is my favorite of his works, but I will overlook that.

Do as Liquid says, people. Devin Townsend is one of the most talented and diverse musicians I've ever heard. He has worked with metal bands, industrial groups.. he even did some vocals for Steve Vai's "Sex and Religion" album. Check him out.

Sorry about that, I'm slowly getting into his SYL works. I got Ocean Machine and Physicist first, and I still think Ocean Machine is one of his best albums. Hell I just got home and was listening to "Bastard" on the way here. PH, you should hear Alien, it's very sweet. I won't say how but I just...know :fear:

I'm going to order his rare stuff once I get the money also. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting every album he's ever made before long.
