    This test basically pinpoints all the common mistakes in the english language. I was flipping over one of them because I swore I knew the answer, but totally blew over my head the instant I looked over the question.

    forget TK, even i got 10 out of 10. that was easy as hell.. oh and i own the subjunctive, bitches. the lay laid lied one is tricky too but i know it.

                Uhh, I was always taught at school to use "Steve and I" instead of "Steve and me" or "me and Steve".

                  For those of you that got 10/10, you're liars. Everyone has been taught to use I, so if you got that right it means you're uneducated.
                  The only person I believe that got 10/10 and actually knew that "I" is incorrect is TK, but he probably had a grammar book at his side (it seems like something he would have.)

                          "acts" - present tense
                          the trick is to take away the other person's name and see how it sounds.

                          "The professor gave the most difficult problems to Andrea and me."

                          "The professor gave the most difficult problems to Andrea and I."

                          see now? it would be wrong to say "the professor gave the most difficult problems to I."

                            no, the "as if" part automatically turns the verb into imperfect subjunctive. i learned this through taking spanish. it's like .. "El camina como si fuera el chico mas popular del colegio." for those who know a little spanish, fuera is the imperfect subjunctive of the verb ser, to be, and it results from the "como si," as if.

                            i wonder if it works for any tense of "to act." would it be "he will act as if he were the coolest guy in school?" i think it is but it sounds weird.
