Korean movie diva commits suicide

Kim Eun Ju, popular korean actress, committed suicide on Feb. 22nd at the age of 24. Some say it had to do with the horror movie that she starred in that drove her to madness, while the true reason is probably because of a psychological illness that most stars get when they're at the top of their game. She truly is a great loss to the korean entertainment community, and the fans have truly gone berserk over in south korea. I've watched taegukki, with wonbin, great movie. Pity she couldn't make clear of her situation before committing suicide at such a young age. She could have been something big.

What the fuck? Is this only a common thing in Asia? Most stars I know of use alot of drugs and sleep with random people, not develop illnessess (hope that is typed correctly) because they are at the top of their game. It's always sad to hear that someone took their own life, but I don't feel sorry for her. Maybe because I don't know her, or maybe because I just think that's a shitty cop-out of life (I'm leaning towards the latter).
