I saw a bunch of recent interviews with the band and they contradicted themselves when they were talking about an image and said that if anyone who disagrees with them '"can go fuck themselves". I really wish they'd quit sucking, take off the eyeliner drop the skin tight shirts and maybe stop selling out to emotional-hardcore music. Once they accomplish that long list of destroying a good band maybe they can make an honest effort to write with some integrity again and stop looking they they're stealing clothes from Anti-Flag.

When they say their punk one second then say no we don't represent what punk is it sends mixed messages, I'm a strong believer in not putting things on. If you wear eyeliner all the time then that's fine then put it on in your videos but don't put it on solely for the video, it just seems like everything they do is put on. And that's not bad a bad thing, they're making money for putting it on just like Lindsey Lohan and any other pop-tarts are doing. I don't think their bad people for trying to make money I just don't like how they claim to not be seeking money when it's apparent they are. Artisitc integrity goes out the window when you start doing things to sell records and gain a stronger fan base, even if their old fan base has been replaced with a bunch of whining ten year old girls who listen to Taking Back Sunday.

Dookie is a classic album, but American Idiot has its own special sound and I like them both for different reasons.

I'm a big fan of punk but i can't say I like NOFX
Their music is all about the lyrics while i like to hear good instrumentals every once in awhile too, which they lack
Like squeezer said, they are getting too much into the political scene which brings them into the limelight which kills bands
