  • An Online FPS game

It looks pretty cool, not shabby at all. It even has a storyline. I still like Unreal Tournament better though.

Here's some clips for your viewing pleasures.
    Bigger file
    (16mb WinMedia Player 10 required)

    Smaller file
    (8mb WinMedia Player 10 required)
[I was still able to use them both with Winamp 2.91]

Here's a link to the thread from psforums: http://psforums.station.sony.com/ps/...&no_redir=true

    Questions:
Do you like this game? What FPS (First Person Shooter) games do you like? What makes them good?

I beta tested for this game. It was..... pretty damn shitty.

Top 3 Reasons why Planetside,well......, sucks.

        3.) Reliance on People.

To get anything done you need to rely on other players who you don't know if they would go dick around, not even show up for an assault, etc*

You can't really solo in this game.

        2.) The repetitiveness

This game gets real boring, real fast. I was done with the game 2 days after I started testing it. You have the job to take over bases of the other factions, but when you goto bed, all the work you did while you were on is basically gone while you were sleeping. Then you find yourself taking the same bases over and over again.

        1.) The horrible, horrible lag.

Oh man. To actually hit a person, you have to shoot about 6-8 feet in front or behind the person to actually have it register on the person. If you run a laggy modem, you are practically invincible.
