Need a ranking system for a ladder.

Im working on making a dueling ladder for my squad to make some competition.

Currently I am just doing it all by hand in our forums, and the ranking system sucks.

Right now it is simply the percentage of games won/games played. Which isnt very good. I would like a ranking system like TWD, but the formula would be impossible to implement by hand.

It would be nice to have a site to implement a ladder and a good ranking system, but I have no idea where to even start.

Any ideas/flames/suggestions/anything?
