Fight Club will always be the greatest. Yeah, better than the Usual Suspects. That's right, I said it.

and wadi, i know everyone keeps drooling over blade runner, but its probably the worst movie ive ever seen and before you start saying something like "you have to think deeper into the movie" i have, ive writte a 20 page report on it, and it still sucks.

      and i recommend the movie:

Blade Runner has recieved _tons_ of critical acclaim whether you like it or not, and if you don't like it I think there's plenty of evidence widely available to disprove your theory that it sucks. It is a deep movie, and it is a very art house movie. It's not an action adventure, and it's not a drama, but the cinematography is gorgeous, and there are so many nuances in the film that you could write 20 page papers on it for years, and people have.

I think Pi is a pretty half baked piece of overly convoluted garbage, but I can appreciate it for it's creative cinematography, even though it plays like someone's senior film project in places... lots of places.

Edit: Allright, I forgot to say. WATCH OUT! THE JEWISH CONSPIRACY WILL CONTROL YOUR BRAAAIIINZZZ!

What? You're tripping. I rented it for some friends who hadn't seen it last week. DO NOT GET Battle Royale II! It's terrible.

I thought Matchstick Men was boring until the ending - which still didn't make up for it to me. I give it a C-, but true it was a surprise. Fight Club is probably my favourite surprise ending movie. I'd also consider the ending to 2001: A Space Odyssey somewhat surprising the first time I saw it. I just love that movie, though. Could be a bias.

It's not illegal in the US, the Asian distributor just refuses to sell it here.

when i saw the 6th sense, that was weird to me, and same with the village, but after the first time you watch it, it's pointless to watch again.

Unusual suspects is the best, but if you haven't seen it yet, it's probably already ruined for you.. still worth watching though.

I also recommend watching the original Manchurian Candidate.
The original is really cool. Did Angela Lansbury as the villain creep you the fuck out too?

I liked Macthstick men and the ususal suspects alot, I also recently bought a David Lynch box, those movies are quite hard and some have very surprising ending. Can't really think of any which haven't been already brought up...

Battle royale is awesome though that sequel is just horrible.

You're kidding, right? Cube (the original) was a decent idea (horribly acted), and every one afterwards was like the director was high the entire time. Even the ideas are repetitive--nothing new is brought to the table, and they certainly didn't spend more money on the actors.

I just watched Cube Zero a couple nights ago to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Sure enough, I wasn't.
