Age of Empires 3:
Taking place between 1500 and 1800, we can only hope AoE 4 will sport some World War 1 trench warfare. But, while we wait on that, this seems to have some of the best graphics in an RTS that I have ever seen. Just the attention to detail that went into the graphical engine really amazes me. I have zero clue on how the gameplay is going, since Microsoft is just baiting pretty pictures of landscapes with some buildings (town centers, lumber yards, etc*) in our faces like a carrot on a stick. Lets just hope the gameplay is just as nice. But, if the gameplay is at all like AoE 1 and 2, we'll be fine.
Auto Assault:
Made by the company who did Guild Wars, another Massively Multiplayer Online game this time with, you guessed it, Autos that Assault. Basically you take one part Twisted Metal, one part Everquest, add a pinch of nuclear wasteland, bake on high for 15 minutes and tada, here's Auto Assault. I don't know if they'll have this be a pay per month game, or go the route of Guild Wars with selling a multitude of expansions for more cars, lands, etc*.
Supposedly you're gonna be able to customize your cars with a variety of different guns and defensive items as well as different decals and body kits, etc*. And don't think you'll be seeing shiny Supras and WRX's with machine guns, no. These are gonna be trashed up cars that look to be pieced together by wreckage.... fully customizable wreckage!
Bet On Solider:
This is quite interesting. I don't think the single player will hold much value, but if the gameplay itself is well balanced and fun, the multiplayer can be a blast. In a match, you start with a screen before the round begins with a list of the players in the match and their rankings, etc*. Then you place bets on who you can kill and who you will not. Then with those bets you gain the money needed for new weapons the next round. It'd be like wbduel and saying "Oh I'll put $500 that I'll kill CoolGuy25596, but I'll try only $100 that I'll kill Randedl."
Quake 4:
The first singleplayer PC game since 1997 with Quake attached to the name, Quake 4 will take place after Quake 2 left off. You'll be fighting the "strogg" which are basically cyborgs with a creepy zombie look to them. They'll be using the Doom 3 engine to run the game, so the game will look amazing, lets just hope they inject some good multiplayer this time (note: Doom 3 online still sucks). I really don't think people would care if you put Quake 3 Arena in the Doom 3 engine and call it 'new', just give us something. It's pretty early in development, no release date or anything, but look for it at E3.
