I liked it, I thought it was pretty decent. It strays a little bit from the book, but I challenge anyone to name a movie that strictly stuck to all plot points in the book of the same name.

Enjoyable movie.

The Harry Potter movies don't stray from the books but they cut out large chunks to fit in with time constraints.

Unfortunately ... I don't expect it to be that good. I mean ... there are so many child actors you're gonna hafta hire for this. It just won't be as emotionally impacting as the book. Looks like it'll be more actiony/special effects.

fuck they're making the kid from star wars one Ender? He's not a horrible actor but they could have found someone better and now that I think of it I don't think he's suited for this role.

i saw one of the BBC episodes of h2g2 this past saturday. it was funny.

The only things that brought down Star Wars: Episode 1 was that stupid kid and Jar-Jar. Unlike most people, I thought Episode 1 was pretty damn good aside from those two minor qualms with the film.

Any movie this kid is going to be in will probably not be as good as it could have been with a different actor. He's on my annoying list up there with Carrottop, Queen Latifah, Jerry Falwell, and the entire MadTV cast.

I agree I liked Episode One, I didn't think much of the role of Anakin because I thought it was suppouse to be played by an annoying kid.
