i have neither the time, patience, nor desire to educate myself endlessly on propositions/amendments/candidates and am therefore unqualified to uphold my vote as less than 0.01% of the population.

but the positive side is that i'm a non-voter who doesn't bitch about political issues. that would be hypocritical of me if i did.

Well you see, Thomas Golisano donated a shitload of money to RIT not too long ago, and this money was used to construct a brand spankin' new, fancy dancy building to house the Computer Science department. I could care less what the fucker does with NY because I don't intend to live here after graduating. I only voted for him because that building is absolutely bee-ewe-tee-full.

I voted for Golisano.

He wants to give stupid black people with ok grades a free college education. This way, they'll be making money and helping the economy instead of robbing my house and sleeping in my car.

Also, if the independence party doesn't get a certain number of votes, they won't get public support (cash) for the upcoming elections. Golisano is a millionaire, so he didn't need public financing (much like Ross Perot, before him) but candidates often lack the dollars needed to compete with the mainstream parties.
