Do you really like the iRiver better? My dad has an iRiver and I prefer my iPod much more. The iRiver interface was difficult for me to use and the boot up time too way too long. I'm currently doing one for a free gameconsole (This OMG FREE IPODS has only recently moved to UK). It's 4 referrals for a GBA SP, 6 for a PS2 slimline, Xbox, Gamecube or Nintendo DS and 12 for a PSP.
I've chosen the PSP currently although the release date just got delayed to September, so I may just get a DS, or a PS2 and sell it.
So far I have 25 people signed up with my referral link, but only 1 has completed an offer so far (It takes up to 4 weeks to receive credit for an offer, so it's likely more have done offers but not yet got the credit for it).

the boot time is about 20 seconds. i have no problem with that really. i mean come on, it's 20 seconds and then it is a snap for everything else. as for the interface--yes, it took some figuring out. some of the controls are slightly, well, unique... but look, i'm not my mom. i can figure shit out cause i have the common sense to look in the manual. after 2 days of owning it i had the controls down pat and i like them a lot. i just stick my hand in my pocket and use them without looking half the time. as for the sound i dont think it is better on an ipod.Originally posted by geekbot
