Somebody will post a song that they consider to be an "old" song which will suddenly make me feel old.

Already happened to me.

in 3rd or 4th grade i would go to birthday parties at skating rings and sometimes heard "i saw the sign" by ace of base.

That came out when I was in high school.

My older brothers had me listening to Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Doors, The Beatles, and ZZ Top by the time I was 4 years old (1979).

I think if I were to pick my earliest favorite song it would be:
Heartache Tonight - The Eagles
Hey Joe - Hendrix
or
La Grange - ZZ Top

Thinking about that feels like it was forever ago.
