    Music programs

    What do you use? Is it good? Is it free? Does it have spyware?


    Right now the program I use (WinMX) apparently has some serious issues, considering that I can't download anything. Neither can my friends who use winmx aswell.

    Obviously, I'm looking for a new program - it doesn't have to have anything more than music. Porn isn't that great anyway :P

    yo da1.
    umm i use this prog called bearshare. its good but it has some disadvantages if you dont have pro. like you can "search for new sources" only like 10 times for one download then it doesnt let you do it anymore. Its fast and it has a huge user base so i like it. Ive used winmx, kazaa and limewire but so far i prefer bearshare mostly because i can find more files and its faster than other proggs.

        Use BitTorrent or any of its variants to download whole albums.

        Use LimeWire for individual songs.

          If you have cable and can access the use of the "RhapsodyPlayer" along with a Soundblaster Live soundcard, you can record entire CD's using the SB Live Recorder set to "what you hear" & hit record. It will save as .wav files and then you can burn them to disc.

          Just an easy way to get around the troubles of online sources having the disc or song you want. Rhapsody Player has basically everything song and CD wise.
