Well, people seem to be responding to the original thread topic, so even if the post that brought it back wasn't a good enough reason, I don't see what's wrong with it.

I'd think it'd be a step up from someone starting a new thread on the same topic. This way, people won't have to go too far to dig up what they said earlier.
