                  Jim Norton, website: www.eatabullet.com - very hilarious. I highly recommend checking him out. Made me laugh my ass off.

                  Lewis Black is good too, like others have mentioned.

                  As for dead comics, Sam Kinision is awesome too. His last stuff is over 10 years old, but still hilarious.

                  Bill Hicks was pretty good. His stuff is in the same style as Sam Kinison.

                  Not really standup comedy, but Dennis Miller's rants are pretty funny. I downloaded like 200 of them in mp3 format. He rants on almost every subject you can think of.

                  Mitch Hedburg was pretty funny, but if you've heard one of his routines, you've heard them all.

                  just some random shit. I've got hundreds of Comedy Central mp3s. I've hardly listened through any of them yet though.
